Job description:
1.The Role:
1-1.The fast growing middle class in China offers tremendous potential for the company with high patient awareness being a key driver.
1-2.The position is based at the company’s subsidiary in Beijing. The position reports to the Group Product Manager.
2.Tasks.
2-1.Develop and implement responsible product marketing plan (surgical and implant products) within the strategic priorities of Straumann China.
2-2.Product lifecycle management of product franchises: planning of development of product franchises to increase Straumann market share.; Manage product launches and phase-out of products.
2-3.Definition of marketing mix for key franchises; Volume Planning and forecast; Performance tracking of key products (e.g. implant.).
2-4.Collect and provide market information, Analysis the market and provide market development report, finish related market survey.
2-5.Definition of initiatives to drive business and action plans as counter measures where necessary to address performance gaps together with the Senior Management and provide solutions to the markets.
2-6.Track market and competitors and provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis;
2-7.Provide professional support to dentist and distributors.
2-8.Organize and be responsible for related market event, such as academic event, product introduction course, etc.
2-9.Develop product/technical content for marketing collaterals and work with MarCom team to Help PR /Marcom to produce Chinese version of marketing material.
2-10.Coordination with MarCom for placement / execution of product PRs.
2-11.KOL Opinion Leader management; Develop relationship with professional associations, help developing customer database.
2-12.Liaise with Head Office product managers; Product portfolio feedback and input to Head Office, based on domestic market needs.
2-13.Train the sales force on products feature and benefit, develop compelling sales story for sales force.
Requirement:
1.Education / Professional Experience.
1-1.BA/BSc in dentistry or medical related science.
2-2.5 years of Product Management/Marketing experience in the Dental/Medical Device industry (implantable medical device is preferred).
3.Work experience in international environment / foreign based MNC.
1-4.Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
2.Personal / Leadership Competencies.
